I wonder if the subtitlers are watching a different version of Sky News. How are the Irish and International version(s)?

Well the sound on the clean feed on ABC is still there

And sound is back!

Sound just came back for a split second before the adverts came on (on Freeview)

And sound is back!

Still nothing here on DTT.

Edit: Sound returned, straight into an ad break.

But now the subtitles seem to have stopped. When the sound came back, the subtitles didn't seem to match what was being said anyway. Maybe the subtitler was just winging it and guessing what people were saying.

Apologies, Tim was in A not in E. Weather break so I assume the News channel is joining the Ten, I suspect we might be bac to A to join BBC London news.

The 'Latest pictures' are the same on BBC as Sky News. I wonder what the source of them is. They seem professional rather than someone holding a camera phone the wrong way round or anything.

Yes I thought that Sky News have been cutting away to the same 'latest' footage as BBC News. Bit of an embarrassment for BBC News so far in terms of live/exclusive footage.

I've had the BBC News Channel in the background, so just listening, but I swear Tim must have teleported from Studio E to Studio A! I flicked onto the website not too long ago and it was Studio E - presumably they used recorded coverage for when he moved studios, so very quick indeed.

No, something even weirder happened. Chris Rogers appeared at 9 and then morphed into Tim about 10 minutes later. I wonder who was scheduled to take over at 9. Chris may have just filled for that ten mins and is actually on duty for the London late bulletin.

Interesting that the Ten is leading with the Lee Rigby story and the News Channel is taking it rather than continuing with rolling coverage.

You were right, there was a clip of Tim in studio E. It was very brief mind you.

Radio wise, Sam Naz has been seconded from 60 Seconds to read news bulletins on BBC London 94.9. I didn't watch 60 Seconds to see who's on, but I suspect Claudia-Liza Armah is on Three for the rest of the night.
