Intresting to note that the view from Milton Keynes features the Point (the red triangle building home to the first multiplex cinema in the UK) but the outlines of the triangle is illuminated red but appears to be turned off in the view but it could also be for the fact that the place has been dormant for over a year now

Only part of the Point is dormant. The Cinema (now Easy Cinema) and the Bingo Hall are still open.
True but both the Cinema and bingo hall are "detached" from the main building itself in terms of entrances as the bingo hall is you underneath the Point and you get to it via an exterior staircase and the cinema can be reached thru an side entrance at the cinema part. The actual Point itself and its insides are as empty as can be.
A little Factor, the Point was in the opening titles for CBBC's Movie Game when it was hosted by Phillip Schofield back in the day.
Have Border/Lookaround yet actually lived up to their promise of having a variable view in the "window"? Every time I've watched the show online, the view looks the same to me (presumably Carlisle?).

they initially started off with blue squares and carlisle and now it seems to bee the standard loop shot of a landmark or location...
Just the city walls in Carlisle city centre. Nothing else so far....
Having said that there aren't amny locations to opt for unless they go for a collage of locations or cahnge to a shot of Dumfries or Douglas - perhaps alternations?
I agree that the only option other than the backdrop of Carlisle would be a collage of around the region, but that does not look as good as cars and people moving about behind the presenters. It looks a lot better.
Having said that I did email Border before the new look and Karina Reid, Director of Lookaround did say there would be different views from a round the region, so they must have or had something planned.
I'm surprised vat just how many views Anglia West are varying between. I'd have expected three at the most. But, if I've understood discussion here so far, there's at least four (Bedford, Cambridge, Northampton, Milton Keynes). Anyone know the definative list?
I'd expect Border to only really bother with three - just one from each country/principality of the region. (Carlisle (England), Dumfries (Scotland), and Douglas (Isle of Man)). But anything other than Carlisle has yet to materialise it seems.
