I've been reading some of the comments posted on the Daily Mail, the majority subtly said that regional news was boring, and this event brightened their day. lol

I would of thought Anglia and the rest of the regions had a Network Director sending instructions.

I'm surprised no one at Anglia was watching ITV1 off air. There must be TV's dotted around the place, surely one of them had it on.

I can't imagine that there are many people around at that time of the day. Don't know about ITV regions but don't some of the regions for the BBC breakfast bulletins run with two people, the presenter and a technical person.

Well considering that we clearly heard the presenter speaking to at least two people, I'm sure one of them should have picked it up, as well as whoever was in the gallery. Even then, ITV/GMTV in London should be watching the output of the regions to make sure that all is going well. Considering Anglia is playout out from London 24/7 now anyways, I would be surprised if there isn't a monitor at ITV1/GMTV control showing it's output.

Sorry , itv wales started this cockup approach to gmtv news some time ago - see my thread. The whole network joined in this time so the finger points at London - can't say I blame them as their jobs are going.....
