I doubt schoolchildren look significanly different in Suffolk to anywhere else. Wink

I realise that! Embarassed It's just that it seems to rather defeat the object, having images from the wrong (sub-)region in the title sequence. You wouldn't put the white cliffs of Dover in the Meridian South title sequence now, would you?

Sure, but that's a distinctive landmark. A classroom of schoolkids isn't geographically identifiable (unless you actually know the classroom or one of the kids).

BBC regional news has shown that you can get away with using the same images in different titles. The same field of cabbage-pickers appeared in Look North and East Midlands Today's titles at one point (as well as the News 24 countdown). There's also a sequence of kids playing on a housing estate which made its way into both the Look North (NE&C) and South Today titles!

Am I losing my mind or was this show not broadcast?!

The title sequence actually makes the outgoing ITV logo look good - maybe they should have had an ident like that!

I think it might've been some sort of programme or video for ITV employees only, I don't remember it being broadcast.

You're probably right. It's a while since I've seen it.

There was a small 30 sec piece on Anglia News tonight showing kids in the classroom drawing the Anglia Knight. Also mentioned that there would be new livery from Monday too. Fancy that! Laughing

So does that mean we'll get to see a glimpse of the Central Cake during tomorrow's ITV Central News titles? I hope so - if Anglia can stick a well-known image into its titles, then so can Central hopefully. Let's hope its not a Carlton star!

Any would do for me!
I think they should have both.Someone could cut a cake with the Central on and underneath there could be a few Carlton Sparks!

I don't suppose anyone managed to capture Anglia News' new titles, complete with knight?

What did you expect? A full two minutes of the Knight rotating to the sound of Handel's Water Music?
