Evening
Dermot Murnaghan & Mary Nightingale / Nina Hossain

10:30
Mark Austin / Andrea Catherwood fridays


I think if he came back Mark would stay put and Dermot host the 10.30pm - returning to host the Evening News would be seen as a backwards move, but hosting his own bulletin wouldn't so much (although he'd be going even further back to when he hosted the Nightly News - and he was brilliant on that!).

Just made them up as a bit of fun - although in my opinion that if any bookmakers were going to do odds I believe these are pretty accurate guess to what they would be

Just spotted a brief item in last week's Press Gazette which says that Andrea Catherwood has been appointed full-time presenter of the ITV Weekend News.

Presumably her recent bereavement has delayed her taking up the role.

Replace's Steve Scott?? He only presents it occassionally and he isn't the dedicated weekend presenter. she presents it more than he does. anyway. infact felicity barr probably presents it more than steve scott. i wouldn't rule out McDonald doing another year, this story is always around- 'who's going to replace McDonald'

Well before it did says she presented the Weekend News and occasionally presented week day bulletins
I'm surprised they haven't got the news channel presenters on their, Steve Scott, Felicity Barr, Joyce Ohajah, Owen Thomas and Leyla Daybelge need to go on there

I see they've added Rachel McTavish too. They could use updating the descriptions really,

Katie Derham presents the ITV Evening News, and the news for London on ITV in the relaunched London Tonight.

She is not really a regular presenter of the Evening News...

Steve Scott has presented virtually every weekend bulletin I've seen for around 2-3 months - since Nina took over from Mary.
