I'm certain that the female presenter who was on BBC News before midnight said in an interview with Amy's former stage school headteacher that she was once "literally" a shadow of her former self.
Is it my imagination, or did David Sillitoe just say that Amy Winehouse in life was "curvaceous" instead of, perhaps, "vivacious"? Because the former seems a little inappropriate.

While I can't say that I was shocked at the news, given Amy's dependence on drink and drugs over the last few years, it's sad nonetheless that these demons have claimed yet another talent at such a young age. I can only hope that she now finds the peace in Heaven that she never had on Earth.
