I wouldn't be surprised if Alan has filled a report in time for breakfast, he was calmer than Martine there! I can't get over the fact he had a radio listening to world service, who were broadcasting daily reminders of his case just in case he was listening. Such a simple gesture and it probably kept him sane!
All those Palestinians milling round Alan: they hate their "oppressive" neighbour Israel, they are willing to spill blood over land and territory, use children as shields....yet they protect and rejoice in the freeing of this one Western white man.
