Hadn't realised Adrian had worked at Sky News. I know he worked at BBC News (on World and News 24), CNN and Al Jazeera.

I was having doubts as I realised I was getting him mixed up with Alistair Yates, but upon googling it's on his LinkedIn CV thing (albeit freelance)

He was the voice of BBC World for a while as well as a newsreader on it

Adrian was also a continuity announcer on BBC1/BBC2 back in the 1990s and he also read Radio 2 news bulletins from time to time. So he's done quite a lot during his career!

.....and continuity for LWT I think ? Started his career as one of the founding presenters on Norfolk ILR station, Broadland back in '84

Here's one of my favorite Adrian clips. I thought it was a huge loss for CNN and a huge gain for AJE when he switched:

Your post made me wonder where Stephen Cole went, as I feel like I hadn't seen him on the air in a long time. According to his Linkedin, he left six months ago for a consultant job. A shame, as I really liked him as an anchor.

I don't usually catch the London bulletins, but when I do, it seems to always be Lauren Taylor.

I agree, a loss to aljazeera. Stephen Cole in my opinion was one of the best newsreaders they have.

And was at Radio Norfolk in Norwich in the late 80s. He presented (or featured in) the Look East Children in Need coverage around that time as well.

Any broadcaster is lucky to have him working for them.

Ah - could have been filling in during a gap between BBC and CNN or CNN and AJE. Didn't think he was ever a permanent fixture there.

His LinkedIn says he was freelance at Sky from 1996-1997, during the same time he was freelance at the BBC.

Adrian was also the voiceover on Lily Savage's Blankety Blank. I'd forgotten all about that until recently.

Does the Euro feed get any news from the US Studio? Is the presenter on AJ new or is this the usual presenter for a Friday?

Today's London presenter Julie Macdonald is a regular cover presenter covering for Lauren and Felicity.

Barbara Serra too is a relief presenter for London.

Thank you, i've only really seen it Mon - Thursday. I have yet to see anything crop up about the UK election, I probably turn up next month,
