Al Jazeera Arabic (Al Jazeera Channel, as its known in the region) is gearing up for its 20th anniversary on 1st November.

The channel is moving into a new building, an extension of the original building in Doha. They're now running adverts featuring snapshots of the new studio, which looks very much like Al Jazeera English's set.

Al Jazeera English will also be using one of the new sets, which is glass fronted. Here's some photos...

Thanks for sharing. I didn't realize all of this was happening. Also, AJE will be celebrating its 10th anniversary soon.

Which may mean that supposed AJE rebrand form a few years ago may actually happen

A preview of the new look in the shape of this ident which is currently airing between programmes on Al Jazeera Arabic. It features a reworking of the theme used since the channels launch in '96. Quite nice! The new look launches at 15:00 GMT on Tuesday.

The new look went live at 6pm local time.

As of yet, no look at the new titles or theme music, but very nice graphics - modern and simple. Alongside that, a huge new newsroom set.

I love the newsroom set & the graphics. They both look very contemporary in their designs.

I can't wait what the English version would look like with it's new look.

I don't think it's relaunching, but a new look has been on the cards for many years. Their 10th anniversary is in 2 weeks so maybe,but I wouldn't hold my breath, I believe the technical refurb is still ongoing and overrunning

But I was under the impression that all AJ teams and studios were moving to a purpose-built premises and the AJE studio was to be within the studio with the large window?
