ABC News 24

Graphics are so good. Apart from the 2006-CNNI-ish things, everything is original. But, there is a rip-off of something.

How do I get round the geo-lock system that ABC use to prevent viewers from outside Australia from watching ABC News 24 ?

By moving to Australia.

For the duration of the flood disaster story in Queensland and New South Wales, ABC News 24 has been broadcasting internationally online. They've taken off their geolock. Don't know if or when they will re-introduce it, but it has been good to see the channel in action.

Interesting, I watched a bit earlier. They had live presentation to 1:30 AEDT, then recorded clips and interviews with no introduction between 1:30 and 2:00, then back to presentation at 2:00 which included an interview with a reporter in Brisbane which was supposedly live but there was no "live" indicator on screen so I wondered if this half hour was a repeat.

Watching ABC News 24 Breakfast, very good reporting around Brisbane. Super clean graphics.

I will tune in again each night just for 30mins or so to see the latest, especially with the Floods dominating the headlines there.
