Cheers for those StevieB, I personally watched the Sky News coverage. Did Five join Sky News for that does anyone know??

ITV News seem to be the most sombre of the broadcasters at the moment, Sky News are providing great coverage, but I would have thought that either BBC One or BBC Two would have provided a longer programme at 12??

The EPG is obviously triggered by the start of a programme then, much like Video+ and PDC... still, at least the BBC ONE cockup wasn't as bad as the IRN one for the Tsunami silence!

Really!!??? I thought it was horrendous - and something that, quite frankly, SHOULD NOT be able to happen on a major Public Service Network.
BBC ONE Presentation used to be the best in the world - but now its just a joke - a complete joke. How a Director can RUN AND CUT to air a programme and NOT have the ability to QUICKLY cut to a reserve Emergency Cut Source of the LIVE programme that they are going to is staggering. If it is the kit - someone should be shot for buying it as its clearly not up to the job - and if its the operational staff then Red Bee should be ashamed of themselves.
They really should.
I bet BBC TV are fuming.
I say ditch the contract BBC and get some professionals in to do the job.

Well, they could have been more clearer and added a "th". "7 July" just sounds a bit odd.

It was an effort getting into my course building today, the press are all over Kings Cross. I am still thankful my mum was late for work July 7th last year, if not she would have been on the train that exploaded at Kings Cross.

On a lighter note, the new ITN logo was on the white van parked in the sidestreet, I didnt notice any other branded vehicals however.

What was the closing like? Was it the normal music with wide shot, or something else?

Was the ITN endcap used the usual wild colour?
