BBC News marking 60 years since the first TV News bulletin today. Breakfast just showed some behind the scenes stuff, John Kay walked from the sofa out of the studio into the gallery to show us around the Salford set-up, followed by a montage of stuff from BBC News over the decades.

I'll get it on YouTube today for you all. It was a short albeit interesting look behind-the-scenes on Breakfast.

Just a quick word that the partnership of Jon & Naga is such a good one. You can tell they get on really well and they suit the tone of the programme so well - so watchable. I just hope Naga gets the job on Breakfast - she's really what they're looking for.

Long-term, I think Jon would be a perfect fit for Breakfast. Maybe when Bill retires, Jon should join the main roster of presenters.

The 'old' clip of Naga dug out of the archives wasn't very old, it was when she was on Working Lunch about 2 years ago.

Meanwhile the old clips of Jon were presumably from when he was a reporter on "News West"

It was the first Working Lunch she presented (and her BBC debut) six years ago, so as old as it's going to get from BBC archives!
