I've never seen that. I think the nearest equivalent would be when the Taoiseach and cabinet ministers receive seals of office from the president, which is broadcast live.

RTE has shown live coverage of a Taoiseach going to "the Aras" to resign, I have seen it, usually hosted by Bryan Dobson.
