C4's Alternative Election Night is now going throughout the night, beginning at 9pm with The Last Leg, Gogglebox and various comedians dominating until midnight before a results show through to 6am which will include more from the C4 News team.

Great to see a fourth option for results, indeed I felt Jon Snow was great with the 1992 election coverage on ITV, you can see this yourself with various clips on Youtube.

I think in 2010 David Mitchell etc. covered the Election until midnight and that was it so it's great to see extended coverage, probably just so we can get our overnight fix of Paxo which makes it a serious alternative.

The app - including the live feed - is also on Roku, Apple TV and various brands of smart TV including LG and Samsung.

It won't be hard to see the coverage!

Lets rewind, and I think its been lost in translation. My original point has always been, there was no need for the NI parties to be included in the ITV debate. This may seem very unfair but People in NI can't vote for any of the parties on that stage. At least with Scotland and Wales and England you can vote for at 5 or 6 people on that stage. If it came across as me saying I don't NI should get the debate Im sorry for any confusment on my part about that daft comment.

There are 16 candidates standing under the Conservative banner... ok Conservative NI, but the same could be said about Scottish Labour etc.

Forgive me, I was sure it did. What about punching up the live feed via the YouTube app?

Given that NI voters are incredibly unlikely to elect anyone from the national parties, no.

As for whether it should be shown in the rest of the UK - given the DUP could form part of a Coalition with the Tories . . . I think the rest of the country should get a chance to watch the NI parties debate.

Oh I'd suggest that after the events of the last 24 hours, widely reported in the media, the rest of the UK has every right to see the NI parties debate. Especially if this particular party ends up involved in a coalition.

It could be a rather heated occasion.

Furthermore it'll be very interesting from a local perspective if the parties present themselves in a different matter knowing they are doing so to a national audience. Often television debates/political programming here in 'Norn Iron' descends to almost anarchic levels which would be deemed unacceptable on the mainland.

Plus, it'll give a nationwide audience a chance to see UTV's truly awful production standards.

Given that NI voters are incredibly unlikely to elect anyone from the national parties, no

But on that basis the Greens shouldn't have been involved in the national debates.

I don't follow that logic, especially given the Greens already have a sitting MP in Caroline Lucas
