ITV on #leadersdebate format: each leader has uninterrupted 1minute answer to each Q, before the debate is opened for up to 18 minute debate

ITV: #leadersdebate will address 4 substantial election questions with enough time allocated for proper free flowing debate between leaders

ITV #leadersdebate on Thursday will have an audience of around 200 people - which has been selected by polling company ICM

ITV confirms #leadersdebate will have one break in the 2-hr live broadcast for the leaders - will be a commercial break to facilitate this

Literally highlights what a farce it is. Also how come Cameron gets to close two rounds? Hopefully Plaid Cymru do the whole thing in Welsh.

The fact is, it won't matter to me if they do speak in Welsh

I don't think Leanne is confident enough in Welsh.

Big improvement on ITV's 2010 set ...

They've gone with the itv logo on the lecterns, they said they kicked themselves last time when they didn't and then the BBC debate had big BBC logos on theirs.

I think it looks worse than last time, to be honest. The signs looks hastily stuck on and the STV and UTV logos either side are untidy and make it look ugly.

A massive improvement on ITV's 2010 set. The lighting ties in with ITV News' colour scheme. The logos on the lecterns look fine - nice to see STV and UTV included.
