What was the biggest news event of the year and who did it best?

The US election, the Mumbai attacks, the earthquake in China, the Beijing Olympics, disappearance of Shannon Matthews, the Madrid plane crash, the banking crisis.. just some of the options from this year so far...For me, I liked Alex Crawford's coverage of the Mumbai attacks.
