I'm sure this isn't the place for politics, but for balance , may I just respond to the comments above by saying that Thatcher was an evil woman who caused more harm than any prime minister before or since.

I couldn't agree less. Margaret Thatcher is easily the best thing to happen to this country in the last fifty years.

Until we get another like her this country will never sort itself out again.

What would be a good version of this country JM? One where the nig nogs are sent to the moon?

Just a tip from us older members to any new blood - James Martin's political comments are completely worthless due to him being a mental.

Whilst I'd love to send you to the moon, realistically speaking we need a leader with integrity and somebody who will stand steadfastly by their own and their party's principles.

A leader who saw that things got done and did not take s**t from anybody. A no-nonsense man or woman who kept keeping Britain Great always at the forefront of their agenda.

Under the terror of Blair this country has become merely a pathetic satellite to the US - a country with no heritage, or anything else for that matter. Britain could lead Europe but instead it chooses to be a satellite.

Trust me - I would love nothing more than to have another Thatcher in No 10.

This country could be billiant once again but it needs a leader with some boll*cks. Ironically the only one who had the metamorphical type I'm talking about here, was the only one without any real ones.

Top Up Fees? Illegal war? People dying because they've been in hospital? Petrol crisis? Yob culture?

Tony Blair is a liar.
