Thats a bit bigger news, most pubs will just close then, won't be making money with that level of customers.

The pub figure is groups of six. Not total capacity. Which let's face it is as farcical on a Saturday night in town as any Figure,

The 6-people rule doesn’t apply if it’s work: GMB is work; working in a tv gallery is work; working at a football stadium is work.

Audience? Might be okay if you have distinct separate groups of people who don’t mingle at all, but perhaps not worth the risk.

Yes, realised it was a dumb question considering they continued through lockdown and I'd forgot the camera crew for starters.

This really does go against their instruction of everyone returning to the office though.

I presume it won't be limiting to 6 people in the pubs full stop, just 6 people in each group. So no long tables.

Does it?
Six people thing/rule/requirement doesn't/won't apply at work so you can still return to an office, you just can't go to the pub after work as a large group.

It's more that it's contradictory to claim that it is safe to return to a potentially packed workplace, but it's not safe for seven people to meet in a garden.

AstraZeneca vaccine trial - the one Hancock was hyping up on LBC - halted due to an adverse reaction in the UK.

If I'm perfectly honest the entire message over the months has been contradictory. The initial message implied it was dangerous anywhere except the local pharmacy and your local Tesco/Asda/Lidl/whatever branch - all places where you're often around God only knows how many more people than you would have been had you been able to go to the library or the museum or "non essential retail" in the first place.

I'd have thought that not too unusual in the process to find a vaccine - it is exactly why we have trials.
