Who Wants To Be A Millionaire should look back on itself and realise that the classic episodes with real contestants, fifteen questions and the original music is better than the live 'celebrity' editions we now have to put up with. Here are my ideas for modernised graphics based on the originals.

The programme should return to the ten consecutive episodes format, therefore this graphic will introduce the programme.

*

The new question graphic is based on both the original and the 2007 design, unlike the original it will be animated. The bars will come forward onto the screen (like the 2007 design) and the answers will revolve into show when the host says it, the question will come onto the screen already on show (again like the 2007 design).

*

This is what the Ask The Audience graphic will look like, it will slide in from the right side, the graph bars will smoothly rise once the audience has voted. Depending on the editing, the graphic will then disappear when the shot changes or slide out to the right.

*

Finally, this is what the question graphic will look like when the contestant has said their final answer (orange) and if they have answered correctly (green).

*

I may upload some more designs depending on any responses.

I like it, actually. It's very neat and feels fresh, if that's the correct word. However, I'd like to see the money table, and other elements before I set my final verdict.

4 stars.

Here are some more of my designs. These are based on a single background design which itself is based on the original design.

Here is the Money Tree, the green bar shows the amount of money the contestant has won.

Here is the graphic which shows the total prize money won by the contestant.

More may come.

A nice neat design, although not too keen on the green on the money table.

Wonderful, simply wonderful! Although - I do reckon the green doesn't mix at all well with the orange in the ATA graph..

Hello, thank you all for your comments. I have amended the Money Tree and Ask The Audience graphics. I originally planned to emphasise the use of Orange and Green into the other graphics to create a more coordinated set of graphics.

Here is the Ask The Audience graphic with the classic colours used in the bars.

Here is the Money Table slightly modifed with the winning bar changed to orange.

I am already working on more graphics which are coming soon.

Superb! Y'know, I think that's just what the show might be - Vintage-type format! Nostalgia!
