Best mocks on here in years.

Really nicely done and obviously so many aspects you can play with - quite easy to see why the OBS might end up saying "sod it, we'll stick with the last ones" by the time they're on to graphics for their 17th sport!

In two minds about the London font - in theory yes the games font should be on the header, but in practice the London one isn't that great. The only thing I don't like about these mocks is the top left scorecards (in Volleyball and the Rowing time check), which just seem a bit generic and grey and could be for anything really - plus some seem a bit long. I think they could just do with a bit of colour to tie it in with the overall colour scheme.

I've thought about this, and came to the conclusion that I didn't like having all the big blocks of colour constantly on screen. I wanted something quite subtle for things which are always up there, especially since other graphics with the full branding are often shown at the same time. I agree about the size, but can't think of anyway to avoid it! Might try some other ideas out later...

These are seriously brilliant- you need a job with OBS! Very Happy

Can I ask a bit about how you made these. Which programs did you use? And did you draw all the shapes and designs yourself (such as the coloured bars with the criss-crossing lines in the background?)

It's primarily Adobe Fireworks, with various bits done in other software like Illustrator. After Effects is being used for the animation I'm working on.

All elements are drawn by myself, except for the flags (wikipedia), pictograms and olympic / paralympic logos (traced from official sources).

Looking forward to it!

I'd generally agree with that but for some reason will put up with if for the Olympics. I guess to it might be a reason they stick to a simple colour scheme - it's easy to identify it's Olympic footage even if the Olympic rings aren't featured.

From what I've seen of games footage it seems with long names they'll basically reduce it just to the country during the action.
