I like this mock so far, PATV! It's fresh, but familiar. Great job so far and btw, I enjoyed jamming to my song while looking at your mock! Awesome work! 3/5

I'm guessing I got it right then, I never heard of your song choice and that was the only video I could find.

The second part of this mock is to do with Comedy Central, my main idea was to come up with rebrands for the whole Viacom network, which I will slowly upload channel by channel, but at a slow rate as I need to take time to perfect the mock, instead of rushing things and uploading what could be a quite poor set of graphics, the MTV side isn't finished, but I wanted to upload the Comedy Central side of things as I have been watching quite of a lot of CC today and inspired me to continue with it, as per with the MTV Graphics I was continuously watching MTV so it gave me ideas:
The 'Coming Up/Promo/Friends episode box' can be used in a wide variety of colours, as you may see some MTV influence is present but makes the mock look quite good.

Let's see if I've solved the problem, I've incorporated the 'square' character into the graphics.
You've taken the personality and quirkiness away from Comedy Central...

Its the font. You've basically made it feel generic, by simply reusing what you've done for MTV. Not really an improvement.
CC has gone the simplistic route, however to emphasise the quirkiness, they've used slick animations and secondary fonts.
Also maybe change your background layer (for transparency) to grey, pink is rather jarring.

I had watched both of those before creating the graphics, I'll use the greyish background in future, I used pink as I 'eye dropped' from a continuity video, its hard to find a good 'handwriting' style typeface, but I'll search, I can't say I'll make an improvement on the current set of graphics, as I think it is a pretty strong graphics package.

Just a little update on the MTV side of things, I just made a little video of how the graphics would be used on a music video:

I feel like Futura looks better on the logos, it suits the bright design that MTV use and it stands out more on screen. The thin DIN seems to get lost
