Here's what would have been seen on screen if a giraffe had become an ITV franchise in 1989.

Shocked

What? Bizarrely, this is MORE logical.

Look,,in fairness it's not a bad mock. Look at all the other stuff out there. This is well done.

I think we're all in agreement that this mock adequately answers the quandary of just how an online preserver of television presentation would have appeared had it been an ITV franchise holder in the 1980s

and that this is in no way nonsensical.

It was in no way nonsensical as expecting the Spanish Inquisition, because nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition

I disagree. I think the giraffe would've continued to use his own idents so as not to dilute his brand identity.

You try fitting a giraffe in that space.

To be fair, it's not like TV Ark hasn't made Christmas idents for themselves over the past five years is it.

I like the concept and since I will always try to see the best in anything, it's a plausible effort. Needs work (suffers from same effect as previous efforts, namely chop a random triangle out of an image and force it into the 1989 ITV Generic logo without any consideration for the wider effect) but a half-decent start.

It's not the worst mock I've ever seen. I have seen both worse and better.
