Hi there,
TV3.co.nz recently rolled out their newly-designed website and I wasn't a fan.
I tried improving it by re-designing the website with a more simplistic look, offering the viewer to view the website in fullscreen or in basic. (At the moment I've only designed the fullscreen option.)
TV3.co.nz Homepage (News Archives, Photo Gallery and more to be created soon!)

Once visiting the site, you're greeted by a clean, easy-to-use layout. Clicking the arrows would bring up a new colour scheme/image, showing you what's on offer on the TV3 website.
All categories (whether it be Weather, Recipes, News Archives etc.) are accompanied by a search engine which allows you to ask anything related to the category. You're also able to click the typeface and it will re-direct you to the specified page. (I'm unsure whether to create a new page or a pop-up with the search engine results.)
TV3.co.nz On Demand (The image -- which is currently of a New Zealand TV Show -- would change each time you visited the page)

Again, this page is accompanied by a search engine which allows you to search for TV3 shows in full. (I'll probably add a list of shows on the page / in a pop-up soon!)
TV3.co.nz / 3news.co.nz

The news page is fairly similar to the homepage, each arrow takes you to a different news story and gives you the option to read the story in full (which would also offer footage, photographs and more -- this is being designed right now!)
TV3.co.nz Shows

Each time you visit the Shows page, the background/show will change (so will the text/search engine text -- it will be related to the background image) This is also accompanied by a search engine which allows you to search anything related to the show. (I'm in the middle of designing a different Show page -- giving you the option to meet the cast, view photographs and more)
What do you think so far? (Don't hesitate in asking any questions!)
