Can't stress that enough. You've got a few options to consider and you must choose wisely.
Did you tick the "Sign me up to Metropol" box when you registered? If so, above the form that you write in when responding to a thread, click that little white paper with green up arrow icon to be transferred to the Upload Service.
What's a Metropol? No problem, your external options are aplenty. Imageshack, tinypic or Photobucket are three of them. I'd plumb for PB as it's easier to keep track of what you've unleashed on the unprepared world wide web.
Or, you could send a postcard of your intended image via First Class mail to:
