What are you trying to do here? This is the the ABC logo in a strange rotating box with the 1989 music theme on it complete with Oracle on steroids. Your video is a mishmash of styles and services and it just looks like you've literally thrown together elements from three different services for no apparent reason.

I'll try. I realised a long time ago that my mocks were being pilloried because I had just thrown things together as Neil said. So I decided to go back to basics and use tutorials to create basic mocks. I was trying to create an ABC startup. But I know already (and feel already that I was too premature in asking for views.

Best piece of advice I would give here is pick one of those elements in the video and do a mock based on that. So either do an Oracle mock, an ABC mock or a ITV Generic Look 1989 mock.

The Oracle mock will probably be easiest to start as there's little to go wrong with it providing you lay it out in a Teletext type font and use the correct colours and similar layout style to Oracle, of which there is plenty of samples online to look at. Hell if CWilliams can do it and make it look semi-decent then it can't be that hard Wink

Well the oracle mock was the easiest part I admit. I did that with an ITV Reem style font, kind of old style oracle with a 2018 twist

Although yes there are old text style fonts out there, I'll use those, Thanks for the advice Very Happy . oh BTW that's the first time any one on here has actually praised CWilliams Shocked

Some of his Oracle mocks are not brilliant but passable, after all at the end of the day making them is just like playing with Lego, stick various coloured blocks together on a screen and write some text. It practically builds itself. His other stuff of a world with 15min "intervals", anachronistic holding slides and a "make it up as you go" announcing style? No, they're still crap and they always will be. if they were posted in the gallery there would be no end of members waiting to heap scorn on them.
