I don't like to give people negative comments but at this stage it is the worst mock that has ever been posted on here. I don't understand what a hanger has to do with the branding or anything else that's in the ident to be honest.
I don't know if the claim "The Worlds #1 online TV channel" is correct or not as I've not had the pleasure of watching all the others out there.
"Sorry about the website. We've got a team of engineers working to restore it by the end of the day. Thanks for your patience." - how many people are working on this project?
Instead of rolling out slashHD, slash2, slash3, slashNews, TCC, slashSelect, slashPlus & an app is on the way... I would focus on the main slash channel first and get that looking more professional - I would suggest you should stop presenting the show from your bed for a start. Looking at the twitter pages I can't keep up with the amount of channels and programmes sunday talk, tv weekly, SlashED, SoundTeens, Ultimate Vlogger - which will be judged by YouTube Executives - might watch that it might be like the apprentice, soap called Oakville, SlashNews24, SlashNewsBreak, SlashGMTV, SlashPolitics - Join us Sunday at 9.30am as we grill MPs on EU free immigration. Also, we'll find out more about Germany 'fixing' David Cameron's EU deal. - based on that this is a much bigger operation than we have all given it credit for but I have to be honest and say until today I've never heard of SlashTV
You & the team are going to be very busy branding all these shows and channels.
Now for the constructive bit
Reduce the size of all the graphics, make sure the text is central to the shapes, consider moving the clock into the / early circle that will then free up the bottom of the screen for a longer headline strap. Have the graphics line up with each other - where the headlines box ends that would be a good place to align the big box with the story euro 2016 etc.
The EU graphics would look a lot better if you made the flag the same width as the box below it and then again have the EU In or Out? box aligned to the end.
create a template so that the boxes at the bottom of the screen are always in the same position and are always the same sizes - if text exceeds the space available squash it up a bit like what GMB do.
The box that has Weather, Headlines etc in it I would align right so that it is always the same distance from the text in the box next to it which is left aligned.
I'd also bring your start time forward to 6am as everyone else starts then - You don't want to have viewers switching to Sky, BBC or Good Morning Britain 30 minutes before you're on air.
I've done a few quick mock ups to give you an idea - I'm not saying these are the best thing ever and i'm not doing it for you so ignore the colours although I have tried to stick to your colour scheme and as for the 1 font its just an example. This isn't necessarily how I would do it myself but I've tried to use your ideas and present them in a more tidy way....if you leave the left side of the screen empty that gives you a nice chunk of space to make special graphics such as for the eu referendum or anything you want.
Notice how all the graphics are lined up properly?
Notice how when all the graphics are used they are the same height as the circle
There is more space for more information if you move the clock away from the bottom strap
by having the text in the boxes on the left hand side of the screen right aligned and the text in the boxes on the rest of the screen left aligned that means the text will always be in the same place no matter how much info you have and looks a lot more tidy.
