'AM' graphics

Black on orange, while not unreadable in itself, doesn't contrast well, the text would have been better in white as your "Trump Protests" headline shows.

I have acted on UBox and Neil Jones' comments.

It looks slightly better, mainly because the removal of the outline around the graphics and also the colour added to the 'Trump Protests' part.

It's up to you whether you choose to remove the slanted boxes, but in my personal opinion I feel that it looks very dated and generic - to me it looks more American in style than European (not sure what look you're going for). They sort of remind me of a US regional news programme's graphics and in some ways of a generic news graphics package that is found on websites such as Videohive. While that style probably had it's time, I'm really not a fan of it and I think that focusing on the use of squares more would help to give your programme more of a unique identity. That said, others (and you) may feel differently on this and it's really up to you so I won't mention it again .

I definitely prefer having the logo on the white strip, though I do think that you should work more on the logo itself a little too (I think your last one was better). I tend to like the simplistic approach, but for me your latest logo looks like you've written 'AM' under a curved line and it almost looks like the line and the text are separate objects. I thought your old logo was better (except the colour which was a bit too dark for a morning programme), though I would slightly increase the size of 'AM' in the sun shape to make it stand out a bit more.

It's good that you've got rid of the 'Download the Slash 7 App', though I would remove what you've replace it with too (it's unnecessary and just clutters the screen). If you do decide to keep it, I'd remove the 'Good Morning. It's' and just have it saying 'Monday 7th August 2017'.

To summarise:

A slight improvement on before, though to improve I would...
(1) Remove the slanted boxes (to give the programme more of an identity and make it look more modern)
(2) Slightly modify either your new logo (to make the line and the AM look more part of one logo), OR slightly increase the size of
the AM in your old logo (to make it stand out more)
(3) Remove the white box at the bottom of the screen (it's unnecessary and makes the screen look cluttered).

Hope this all doesn't sound too negative, and good to see that you are actively looking to improve your work.
