This is my entry for the Gallery Design Challenge 3. I have based the mock around Sky1 HD. This mock is designed for 16:9 HD viewing - Sky1 SD would have a separate system to accommodate 4:3 viewers.
Feel free to comment and rate.
Thanks

Don't like how the credits stay small all the way through and you have the ident and next programme starting while the previous show credits are still on. Not a good idea I'm afraid.
Enough people moan when credits are squeezed and talked over even just for 6 seconds, but imagine the outcry if the whole credits for every show are squashed and silent!!

I generally find American TV to be very cynical about the nature of its audience. They're far more interested in advertisements, and really don't care about the programmes they broadcast. TBS just underlines this, they cant even wait for the last programme to end before beginning the next one, and theyre only showing the credits because of a contractual agreement with the programme makers.
I'm with Charlie Brooker on this one, they should not show graphics, talk or otherwise interrupt the programme I'm watching with anything... ever...
As for the design challenge, this is not the winner...

I agree, it's worser than what we have to deal with already.
I watched a nascar race on Speed channel last month, and in the end, I just gave up, since it was impossible to watch, what with ad breaks every 2 minutes, and pointless graphics clogging up the screen. It'd be ident heaven to many enthusiasts on here and on other TV related websites, but to the average viewer, it's a bloody nuiscance.
