Here a start on my most recent Sky News mock - Should I continue?

Needs a lot of work.

Hate to break the confidence but that is awful

Any suggestions for improvement?

Change the font in the ticker for a start, it's barely legible. The Sky News logo needs changing as well, it's awful. If you try putting the design on a blank background it may look a bit better, with that busy background, it doesn't as nice.

Apologies if I sound as if I'm being rude, I'm not, but these suggestions could make the difference.
