Sky Challenge

So, whilst it would appear unlikely that Challenge will ever become 'Sky Challenge', due to Sky seemingly wanting to keep their name off Freeview (bar Sky News), I've still examined the possibility, and created this mock to demonstrate what it could be like. Here, I've created a logo for the Channel, using the Corporate style, and promo end-boards and an ECP that match that of the other channels (Sky1, Sky Living, etc). So, here we go!

Any comments or ideas that could improve the mock will be appreciated, and I may try to create some idents, in photo form, for now, at least.

Haven't Sky now replaced the endboards of a programme image with a blue gradient background with an 's'

Have they? I saw that example to, but thought they mixed both in together. I'll try an 'S' background, too, then!

I just thought I'd ask as no-one has commented on it - does the Sky Challenge logo look authentic - as in similar to the actual Sky channel logos? I've created it completely from scratch.

The sky logo should be white. The reflection should go half way down the logo with a slight gradient and the text 'CHALLENGE' should fill the height of the strap (minus around 20 pixels at the top and bottom).

How about:

Centre the 'sky' and make the reflection less transparent. The 'Challenge' section of the logo's white outline is 1 pixel out with the sky white line around the outside. Other than that, its getting better!

How did you make that logo

Through quite a bit of time and effort. The orange part of the logo is a gradient, and the top part is a curved corner rectangle with a gradient, but the lower parts are transparent. There are various other things on top of that, all in various layers.
