It doesn't have that clock, it has the earlier one seen here

Just a little heads-up - I've taken down the download links while I upload the new version. When it's all ready I'll re-enable the links and post a list of changes/new features.

I don't remember that clock so they can't have used it for long - Not a fan of that other clock they used when it went 30 then showed as 39 before going right again to 29

Excited to play with the new toys though Smile

Version 1.1 Now Available

Hi guys! I’ve taken on board a lot of your comments, feedback and suggestions and put together an update for the game, with bug fixes, improvements and new features.

There’s also now a Mac version available. If running on Mac you may need to change some default keyboard shortcuts in the config window that opens on launch, due to the difference between Windows and Mac keyboards.

Here’s a list of changes in this version:

Fixes:
Auction - Fixed a bug which allowed a negative price after a megadrop.
Auction - Fixed a bug which allowed a bidder to bid below the minimum bid when the auction reaches a high price.
Auction - A p&p charge of £0 will now no longer cost the company £0 to post the item.
Auction - Corrected the rising price bidding system to first come, first served.
Auction Setup - Fixed postage charge and phone charge input boxes so they no longer allow more than two decimal places.
Auction Setup - Fixed ā€˜bid from’ input so that it no longer allows a rising price of zero or less.
Auction Graphics - Third bid rising graphics spawn animation redone as this was inaccurate before.
Auction Graphics - Small tweaks to the first, second and third bid falling, and second speed falling graphics.
Auction Graphics - Red clearance graphics animation redone for all graphics sets as this was inaccurate before.

Improvements:
Auction - Rising price auction bidding behaviour refinements.
Auction - Megadrop bidding behaviour refinements.
Auction Graphics - Can now run the megadrop sound/animation multiple times.
Interface - Text brightened across all menus to improve readability.
Studios - Compressed studio renders to help bring file size down.
Auction Setup - Lot auto-fill will now no longer generate a quantity outside of the auction type limits.
Auction Setup - Postage and packaging charge limit raised to £35.99.
Audio - Can now restart the current music track at the press of a button.

New features:
Auction - ā€˜Multiple Choice’ auctions are now supported.
Auction - ā€˜Auction Time-Out’ is now supported - set the time limit and the auction will close when the timer reaches zero. There is also a score penalty if the auction closes with stock unsold.
Auction - Bidders may now pre-bid on the web before the auction begins.
Auction Graphics - Multiple DOGs in the top right of the output are now available.
Auction Graphics - Can now collapse the auction arrows to the bottom of the screen.
Auction Graphics - Particle effects are now available for bid, drop and speed pence graphics .sets
Auction Graphics - Multiple elements can now pulse at the same time on certain graphics sets.
Webcam support - Click the webcam button in the camera panel to display your webcam instead of the studios.
General - Can now save up to 5 pre-set custom ticker texts to load when running an auction.
General - Can now keep same control panel setup consistent across multiple auctions (ie. Christmas graphics stay on for next auction, or custom ticker text remains the same for next auction etc).

You can download here:
Download Installer (Windows) The download size is around 195MB, and will need around 253MB to install.

Download (Mac) The download size is around 205MB.

Download PDF User Manual There’s an updated PDF manual included in the install directory, or you can also download it here.

Hope you enjoy! If you run the installer it should just overwrite your current version, and your scores/statistics should still be saved.

I’d also like to say thanks to everyone who got in touch with music tracks, reference images and suggestions Smile

Loving this version Daniel, again, the attention to detail is spot on.

It would be great if the clock i showed you on the page before could be included in a future update.

On the falling price auction graphics for speed auction tv, they still used the traffic lights to go back to the gavel, even if it wasn't a price plunge.

Love the inclusion of the later clock music under other too.

Great work!

Great job as usual Daniel, found a new bug for you though:

Do a choice auction and set the quantities at 499, then do a Megadrop and the phone lines go crazy as you'd expect. Set the quantities at 500 or higher, however, and there is no action whatsoever on the phone lines or any further web bids apart from any pre-bids.

Can I also feature suggest with regards to the choice options the channels would occasionally cycle through the available stock of the other choices, and when the one they were featuring sold out it would switch to the remaining quantity of the next choice.

I've found a few bugs too on the price drop graphics just before they introduced the pence
When it locks out in the collapsed position the quantity goes -1 -2 -3 -
also on the first set of price-drop graphics if you reload the graphics from the collapsed position when its about to lock the quantity goes -1 etc

Ah not good! I'll have a look into that tomorrow evening. This'll most likely mean re-downloading when it's fixed unfortunately.

Just been having a look into this and I can't seem to reproduce this issue on my end. Is this happening with anyone else?

Something you will be able to recreate is on the 3rd set of price-drop graphics If you have the quantity box pulsing in the collapsed position when you reload the graphics it appears where the start price drop box is until it falls into place.

As for the minus numbers when it locks - it doesn't do this all the time but I've managed to do both a few times so far

Other than those few bugs its brilliant - love the particle effects and a nice touch to be able to change the tv screen backgrounds - even the dogs looks just like the real thing

Found the issue with the choice auctions so I'll add that to the list of things to be fixed, along with the quantity pulse issue on the 3rd drop graphics.

I'll keep investigating the negative numbers on the quantity, and I think the first and second bid falling graphics need a bit of a polish when closing collapsed. I'll hang fire on releasing an update until I can find time to fix these and any other bugs that may reveal themselves.

It would be amazing if we could get a small tweak to the executable; so that it continues to run even when the window doesn't have focus. I have multiple monitors, and sometimes switch between windows; so I don't always keep it in focus when playing with it Smile

Still enjoying playing this. Not managed to have a proper £1 auction yet on the falling price auctions and Christmas has arrived at the sit-up channels too!

No probs I'll add this to the next update Smile

I think I've managed to solve the issue with negative quantities so that should hopefully be fixed in the next update too.
