Not A Mock

Relax, this isn't a mock. Has anyone got any thoughts on any books or magazines that teach people how to use After effects etc?

There used to be a magazine called "Digital Video" but that has now ended. Any suggestions?

At school we have AE in one room and on our specialist PC's and at the beginning they looked at YouTube tutorials until the teacher could develop a lesson pack around it, although the YT tutorials are still used for specific things.

Instead of books, just learn from YouTube and VideoCoPilot

Primarily, its about keyframing.

AE at school eh? Makes a change from BBC Micro. I've also found www.creativemac.com

Haha! Only in one room that's shared resource between various departments that has to be booked and you have to sign in !

Sign in to use AfterEffects, there's 2/3 departments I can see needing use of that sort of programme - what school do you go to - BBC Academy?

Sign in to the specific room, not the application. Art & Design, Graphic Communication, ICT and Media Studies all use it, along with it being used for whole school projects like backdrops for school shows and promotional videos etc, plus other schools in our cluster use it for their Senior Phase.
