Just wanted to give BBI45 some inspiration using the Mother Design graphics for BBC Radio 1 and the BBC Three branding elements:

If the original poster wouldn’t mind, I’d love to pursue my version of your mock? You can of course object.

They look pretty good. I would consider going down that route, but I'm still in the early stages of working with a video editor, so I intend on keeping it quite simple. I'm also a fan of the current Newsbeat logo, and I'm not currently planning on changing it.

As for you pursuing your own version, that's fine by me. Just make sure you intentionally make it look awful, and give mine a boost.
(I'm only joking. Go for it!)

New music, refreshed graphics, updated headlines, and a newly learnt ability to blur specific areas containing anything indecent (Yes. This version has a censored German man's posterior). Here's the latest version:

I quite like it, I really enjoy the current logo of Newsbeat and agree that it’s a shame to to see it scarcely used. However, this is a BBC News programme and yet there’s no reference to the BBC at all?

Yes there is a reference to the BBC... the Twitter handle is @BBCNewsbeat and on the endcap. Just because the BBC logo isn’t plastered around on it, doesn’t mean it’s not a BBC programme.

What I mean, is when do you see a BBC programme that doesn’t feature the logo, I know that it’s a BBC programme, I personally don’t think that they would omit the logo and keep it to a simple twitter handler for fear that it wouldn’t look cool and edgy.
