This Morning - Graphics Remake

Hi,

Just a little project that I did in my spare time, I thought I would recreate the This Morning graphics, it's not the best, but it's not the worst.

I have only created the opening link graphics:
* First is the titles (same one used by TM, created by Coffee&TV)
* Then just the coming up aston/strap
* Then the menu

I also thought, 'I wonder what the 2009 and 2013 music combined sounds like', so I put them both together and it sounded good.

If you think it's obviously not the best, then why would you post this on the forum until you think it's at the best standard you can possibly do.

This is the most basic mock. Just putting a box that's had a picture of a flowery background on and fade on a few words that are in the worst colour for the background.

Then the full screen menu just is too simple again.

To me it looks like you've decided to post this mock just to show the members on the forum that you have the This Morning font.

Not the worst mock I've ever seen. The "flowery box" isn't to my taste but I really like the menu.

Keep working on this, it shows promise. 3 stars.


Good god, not this whole "you can't have a certain font" farce again. I know I made a big deal out of one once (drunk posting - never again I can assure you) but this doesn't apply to everyone else on TV Forum.

No, I'm saying obviously not the best as other people would be able to do better than me
And that's why I like doing GMB remakes as it uses solid colours which for PowerPoint is good

And I know some people will think "why use PowerPoint" but then I am showing that even with the most basic of software, you can create something good (obviously not TM)

And yes it is basic but at least it's better than just slapping a logo on top of a image (FS Creative)

I think I should stick to putting a cardboard '2' on my cat.

And yes the 'flowery box' is not very good but I guess you just have to use what's available to you

Very good, although when the two tracks are overlaid, it seems to accrue a somewhat 'techno' style, and one jumps a little quick.
Overall, a really good mock, which, dare I say, has graphics better than what's showing now.

I think you'll find said font managed to shoehorn itself into everything you did for the following two weeks, so you must have been absolutely mullered if you're blaming that on drunk posting!

Also, I know TV presentation is geeky, but who gets drunk and takes the opportunity to brag about a font?

He might mean the title music. I know the underscore is out a little bit but it is because I had to remove Ruth Langsford and Ben Shepard's voice from the 2013 underscore and then put the 2009 over the top and try to align it the best that I could

I wouldn't go as far as to say everything, however I accept I did lash out if something I read irritated me, usually with a mock, one of which I swiftly removed the next day.


Let's just say I won't be touching a drop again (if it makes me act like that ), and I'd like to apologise to those I've annoyed.


All PATV has made are the astons and menu. If you read the top post you'll see that these are the titles currently in use
