Hi, firstly, Welcome to the forum. You'll want some mocks you have made, first.
These are usually based on what you think a channel or programme should be using but are not restricted to it.
They can be videos, images and even 3D models.

Secondly, sign up for a Metropol account [TVF's sister site!] at metropol247.co.uk. There you have access to the uploader, upload images or video and you can embed them on this page with the following codes:

If you require further help making the mocks ask, or view the stickies:

Best of luck and I hope to see some promising designs from you.

Don't go insulting The Dimblebot by accusing him of being human Shocked

You'll not like him when he's angry. He comes round and steals all your bacon.

Probably should try making those questions a bit easier now we've defeated the spambot onslaught

Click the [+] button next to the files you have uploaded. They will give you a BBcode box which you copy and paste into your reply. If the images are large (wider than 640px) then use the "thumbnail" code instead.

I've just downloaded the file you've uploaded to Metropol and I would *highly* recommend taking another look at the threads linked to by Mike before posting.

First and foremost, take a look at how ITV News is currently presented on screen. Ask yourself: does my design match up? Is it an improvement? And most importantly, would it work on screen?

It's true that you also need decent software to achieve these goals but analysis of the current style and how it could be improved is paramount. Currently, it looks like something you've knocked out in 2 minutes off the top of your head.

Also, when you upload images, make sure they are in JPEG format (preferably - but PNG is also accepted by the majority of browsers). Browsers don't understand TIFF files, which means your images won't appear. Virtually all software which can create a TIFF can also create a JPEG. Have a look under the File menu for Export, or under the list of file types in the Save dialog.
