Wales Today
David Lowe is the reason I got into writing music for TV - one track in particular included in the 2001 'BBC World - The Music' release was 'Asian Dream' and is a favourite of mine. This is another one I found on my external hard drive that I've tinkered about with. I added some new percussion that compliments the previous 'world' sounding beats. Hope you enjoy!

I've been listening to this every now and then over on Soundcloud. There is something calming, yet pacey to it. I remember the was another mix you had composed prior to this version around in 2012, but it has since been removed.

Why it was called Malaysian Dream?

The original was called Asian Dream because of the Japanese koto melody and obvious 'Eastern' sound - I can't remember why I renamed it. When I recreated it several years ago I made a few different versions, may have done it to put my mark on it, who knows? Hope you enjoyed anyway. Very Happy
