Luke's Assorted Recreations

Everyone. I have made recreations of some pieces of TV presentation from the past and adapted them to fit the HD broadcast ratio. Some of the idents were modified to include Widescreen or HD text below the ident. So far, I have recreated the BBC2 Copper Cut Out ident, the 1970s Border TV ident, the 1982 Central ident, the 1982 "Welcome to Central" logo from the start of a 5-minute Central promo, and the 1983 TV-AM ident. Here they are:

Why is copper cut-out so blurry and why bother using the old BBC logo?

These are excellent, except BBC Two which is blurry except the text.

I think there's something wrong with your BBC Two reception, unless it's a special "watch BBC Two through saftey googles" ident variation.

I do like the Central ones.

The Central recreations are very good. If the rest were up to this standard I'd have happily given this 4 stars.

But they're not. They're dreadful

Another recreation. This time, it's the Yorkshire Television logo from the 1970s.

It's not a recreation if you're using Arial.
