ITV.com Mock

Hi everyone, a while back quite a few members (including myself) created an ITV.com mock. I have been developing my latest design, and re-branded it as ITV Online. This is only a preview, and I hope to upload the full design in a few weeks.



Please do comment on my designs - the layout, colours..., and I hope you enjoy it.

Not bad, but not good either. It needs more colour and texture, get rid of the horrid yellow.

Use the whole page, just like ITV you have a menu running along the top, yet they centre page and leave grey areas. Fill and use the space wisely.

I disagree with you there, many people don't have widescreen monitors, pages should be kept as wide as possible for users with smaller monitors and even smartphones so content can be fully seen.

I just don't like the menu bar running all the way left to right, Fair enough if the website wants to accommodate everyone then cut the menu bar to the centre like the skynews website.

I like the concept of ITV Online, works nicely I think!

Where are the spaces for ads?

Also its pretty bland being nearly all grey and that yucky yellow colour.

And there is no TV Shows link.

Ive taken your comments on board, I'm not sure if cutting the menu at both ends works, but here it is.
There is also new advertising space,
Rearrangement of the different sections, with news and weather being added,
TV shows is added to the menu,
Plus a bit of a refresh in design.
