My ITV.com Mock

Ok its taken me some time but here it is, ive combined the ITV News and Weather eelemts something ive loved to see and below like we have now but now with a bit more of an element as you click the circle to see more content. I have to say I prefer mine !!

Like the idea of the "circles" and the news bit.

Couple of things I don't like
- The date - seems out of place
- The menu bar - seems a bit plain
- The tv guide - don't think it really needs to be on a homepage

You say "comments please" yet even you admit that it's not that great. Why post it? In my opinion there are too many boxes on screen at one moment, mabey a close or hide button would work better.

Just wanted to see what people thought, im no expert at these things and no designer. So cluttered then, ok thanks for the comment.

I like the idea of putting news and weather o the home page, however it is not one of itv's main purposes to provide that service. Why is the tv highlights box squares, and itv players bos rounded? It definatley good for first timer.

I have no idea, thinking about it now it does seem a bit silly... to inconsistent. Okay and thanks for that last comment.

I think if we put both our mocks together, we'd have a great mock!!
I think both of ours have some good points and some negative points.
I like quite a few bits of yours - like i said the circles, also some parts of your mock are more rounded - so seem cleaner and sharper.
