What evidence is there to suggest that?

Even on the first page you're ignoring people when they gave valid feedback. BUT - there's nothing wrong with this being your project - just don't expect other people to get excited about it.

It's ridiculous to suggest you wouldn't give feedback just because you wouldn't watch the programme featured in the mock.

No it's not. I simply have no interest in this type of programme. I don't know what they look like, what elements are needed or the normal visual language of these types of programme in order to judge whether or not you're meeting those standards. And even more, I don't care to find out about those programmes, and I don't care if your mock is any good.

Contrast that to the three new threads from the last couple of days. MDTA is rehashing his BBC logos mock *again* - BUT he's come up with something new. I'm interested in branding, logo design and his work, therefore I will look at his work, comment, provide feedback and-so-on. There Bail's Crystal Maze mock - another subject I'm interested in. Finally we have channelsurfer's Sky logos mock - like MDTA's, it's about the branding, and he's come up with a new look, presented it well and it looks promising - that gets my interest. I care about these mocks, because they're interesting, well presented and have taken more than a few minutes of thinking. I don't care about "VVeekend".

What have you gained from making that post? Seriously, what have you gained?

Why even bother commenting in the first place? In the time you wasted attempting to gain kudos and being nasty, you could have provided some good feedback for me to use.

By the number of updates I have posted, it's clear I have spent a huge amount of time on this work. Just because it isn't in your interests, there's no need to be so rude. If you aren't bothered, just don't post in the first place.

Why reply to this thread then?

I don't care about "VVeekend".

I wish forum members would stop saying this about W's. Take a look at Wikipedia's logo. We all know it means Wikipedia. Not VVikipedia.
If they were V's then they wouldn't be overlapping.
Even TVForum uses a font with a W in that style. You clicked this mock knowing that it said ITV Weekend.

At the bottom of TVForum, it says Follow us (or to you Follovv us), but everybody knows that it says Follow us. If all W's looked like this > W, then the world of fonts would be a boring place.

...and just what are you and the rest of your teenage support group gaining from posting underwhelming and underdeveloped mocks time and time again without a single flicker of improvement? You complain that you don't get any proper feedback, then when you do get it, you refuse to take any of it on board! The only posts I've seen you openly embrace are the ones posted by your likewise amateurish allies who, quite understandably, fawn all over your wondrous creations and encourage you to persist with flawed ideas.

In the time you wasted attempting to gain kudos and being nasty, you could have provided some good feedback for me to use.

And the time you throw away on these pitiful excuses for 'mocks' you could actually be doing your own research about graphic design and not relying on us to carefully nurture you on your way. Just what was the point in the three posts you made on the 20th, 24th and 26th? We don't need stupid little updates telling us you've been hard at work but not providing any images for us to review.

If you aren't bothered, just don't post in the first place.

You've said this to other users in the past. Instead of being highly anti-social and unwilling to accept proper feedback, why don't you and your pals set up your own forum to showcase your designs? That way, this forum won't clogged up by pitiful and pathetic designs and you'll get all the ego-massaging you highly crave.

Nicky, you are the one who lacks social skills. You can't seem to talk to people in a respectful manner at all.

Please provide examples of situations where I have openly ignored feedback.

Additionally, when I make a post, does it affect your life in any way, shape or form? It does not.

You asked me a question. I answered. That's how discussion forums work. Sometimes you like the answer, sometimes you don't.

In the time you wasted attempting to gain kudos and being nasty, you could have provided some good feedback for me to use.

If you think I've been nasty to you, you need to get a grip. All I've said is that I don't care for your idea.

And as for kudos, I couldn't care less if I got it or not. I'm not 13 and desperate for acceptance.

I simply tried to explain why I thought you were struggling to get feedback, and why I wouldn't be able to give feedback. You are the one taking this as some sort of attack on your existence.

Remember you're not at school when you post on here. We're not paid to be nice to you or to congratulate you on how hard you've worked.

I don't care about "VVeekend".

Sssh you, you have no right to talk about typefaces after Saturday's revelations.

I can absolutely guarantee all the graphics are 16:9 safe.

They weren't.

kudos

Aaron_2015 & JamesCracker sticking up for each other just makes me cringe... The teenage clang. How old are you two?! 13?! 12?

Otherwise continuing, the constant updates that you post where you've changed the size of the text on one aston or whatever which you then have to post a complete new 2 minute video is really unnecessary... These 3 updates or however many you have done on this mock hardly are that different in my view and are no 'improvement' whatsoever.

I just have no clue on an 'improvement' to give you except just change the whole thing Shocked

This is all totally on topic right?

I simply asked for more feedback, before the topic was jumped on with insults and comments on age (all of which are incorrect).

I admitted I was wrong and then corrected it. But don't let that stand in your way.

OK then. Just two standout posts from your BBC News thread:

Thank you all for the feedback, I have looked through each response carefully and will take all feedback on board for v2. However, one thing that won't be changing is the colour .

So, you'll take on all feedback, but not all feedback? Huh?

I do accept some people don't like it, but on this occasion, you'll just have to accept it.

Very well put. Rolling Eyes

Your responses to actual feedback mostly comprises justifications for your poor decisions, rather than an acceptance that what you have created simply does not pass muster here and that you will seek to correct the problems.

You really do have a LOT to learn about graphic design and the meaning of "constructive criticism".

I still stand by the colour change. Changing the colour back to red would have ruined it. ONE thing. In all my mocks, there is one thing I said I won't change. What's the point in making something you end up not liking yourself?

You want innovation BBCNicky, but then want everything to change back to how it was.

And yes, yes I do have a lot to learn. Mainly because I'm not a graphic designer. I'm an estate agent, not a graphic designer. I want to learn though, which is what I am trying to do.
