How about making it less garish and 1970s?
Thankyou!!!
That doesn't offer much in the way of improvements does it Multi?

Here is V4 of ITV Weekend. Gone is the ITV fold, replaced with a unique geometric triangle design. The design features on the title card, but is also carried on to the straps. News items feature ITV News colours, other items feature the general design, as seen in the first image.
Shown below is the graphics for three regular slots:
The studio has also been tweaked, the large newsroom background has been removed in favour of window seats, which I feel suits the style of the programme better.
Shown in the video is a storyboard for a set of titles. The titles revolve around everything family members would do individually, before coming together for a late breakfast.
The music has been edited so that it is more upbeat.
The blurred part of the break sting in the video wouldn't just be a still image, it would be a blurred live image (so it would show the presenters, crew, guests, etc. moving). A still was as close as I could get.
I've been working on this update since getting feedback on the last update. The studio and graphics look more tasteful and less garish. As always, please provide useful feedback, I appreciate all useful comments.

Liking it so far (keep on listening to the music on full blast through my earphones), I like you've used the Lorraine closing as the opening. The only thing I would suggest is not having the shadow as it appears/goes away in the animation. And maybe having the text rise up or animate off on the astons instead of just appearing again.
I also see the ticker is now gone. I personally liked it but personal preference
Edit: Also looking at it the 'Politics with Piers' clock could replicate the actual time (and possibly on the little triangle bar as well

Titles look really good, graphics also look fresh & modern. Well thought out design, personally don't like the way the desk and background are though. Also, did you remix the Daybreak theme yourself? 3/5

Thanks PATV and bazinga. The Daybreak music was remixed by myself for a more upbeat tune.
The show has become lighter in content; so a news ticker seemed less appropriate.
The clock could move, that's a great idea. It might be a little difficult to implement though!

Haven't you just increased the pitch? Hardly a remix...

No, but if you want to think that, you are very welcome to.

Why on earth are you pretending that there is any greater skill involved in your 'remix' than changing the pitch. I just put the audio from your mock through Audacity with a 29% lowering in pitch and it sounds identical to how the music originally started!
