Hi everyone,

I received a message on Twitter from someone called Paul, who had seen my first mock on here, who wondered what it would be like if a consortium of ITV and Love Productions were to produce a Wartime ITV Breakfast service after Donald Trump declares war on North Korea.

I did think it was a bit of a strange idea, so I said I would have a go at an ITV Wartime Breakfast mock, working under the presumption that there might be a bit of brand separation from the standard Good Morning Britain, as no morning in a state of war is going to be particularly good. Hopefully you'll see it as a bit of (slightly macabre) fun. I hope to return to my previous Good Morning Britain mock soon with further updates I have been working on - which doesn't incorporate much of what appears below, I admit.

This is incredibly morbid. Don't really see it as a bit of a fun in the slightest…

Good design; shame about the rest of it, though... Sad

Worst thing I've seen on this forum.

Ugh. I mean it's a mock, but Love Productions? really? A bit grim.

I have to be honest, it really is a very poor design and concept.

Personally I feel that the colours really don't really work together. Prehaps going for a more simple colour scheme would work better - focus on two or three main colours instead of the seven or eight that you've got.

Maybe I'm missing something with the concept of 'ITV Wartime Breakfast' but it's not at all realistic. There is bad news every day of the week and wars going on around the world at any one time. ITV aren't suddenly going to launch a new breakfast programme because of one issue and if they were I very much doubt it would have the term 'Wartime' in it.

This is just my view and sorry if it sounds harsh, but I really don't think it's a particuarly well thought out idea. If you are going to develop the concept further, I would work on a new name and completely re-design the colour scheme.

Totally Akinbola... This has to be a p*sstake. Who the hell thinks "let's get the producers of a cooking show to produce a live news outlet only specifically for when the country is on its knees?" If you're taking suggestions from people, have some goddamn discipline! How about Sky team up with Planet 24 and launch a channel devoted to funerals of past prime ministers?

To quote Charlie Brooker, "you are fired, you are fired from f**king London, you are fired from f**king life".

And the text is far too small.

It's pathetic really that a long-term member has nothing better to do than register again on the site and post rubbish in this forum, presumably for some self amusement.
