What if ITV used the old Teletext space? (July 2010)

Hi everyone,
This is a mock showing what ITV could do if they used the Teletext space on Analogue TV for a basic text service. When creating these mocks I thought what if Analogue was still the main TV service used by the nation (so for this mock imagine Freeview doesn't exist). I created the images in Paint and Photoshop to make it look more like Teletext style typefont. The logos have to be blocky (to be Teletext-ish) so the ITV 2 logo was extreamly hard to re-create. Enjoy and constructive comments welcome. Very Happy

My only point is, that the font should be monospaced.

Edit: Do you have the font 'Fixedsys', which is probably the closest you can get.

I have downloaded the font and have changed the home screen to Fixedsys.

2nd attempt:

I used to have a font called something like ENG Text or something similar and it used to look just like teletext when used, equally there is another font out there called ModeSeven that looks a bit more like the old school teletext characters.

As for the mocks they're ok but the colours are wrong if this is a standard teletext mock, there are only eight colours available for the standard teletext system in the uk.
