With ITV Westcountry due a new set in a couple of weeks, I thought I would show how I think it will look. I admit it's pretty much the standard regional news set, but the actual set won't be wildly different. I've shown how the set would look in a quick News at 6 mock up. More pictures are also included. Feel free to provide any constructive criticism.

looks good, i think the TV's on the back area are recessed a tad, and i think the divider lines on the piller's are thinnner

a simple render software that i use is maxwell for sketchup, i render out to 14 SL

Thank you. I tried using Skindigo, but it took hours and it started to overheat my MacBook. I'll change a few little things then try and use maxwell to render.

This looks great! I'd love to see the final ITV Westcountry set looking as good as this Very Happy

Your psychic abilities are amazing. Would be great if you now develop this and see if you can solve the black border problem, limiting yourselves to the screens they have available. It would also be good to see some more individual takes on the ITV News look - how would you design the set if you were given the brief to link it to the national news look, but had the freedom to design it in such a way it wasn't basically a replica.

Thanks for the comment. Before trying my own thing I wanted to get the basics right - which I seem to have done reasonably well. Now I can try and make it a bit more individual. I was keen to solve the back perspex issue, but to begin with I wanted to be as realistic as possible.
