No offense, as fair enough your've tried - but the feedback you've got has been all negative - doesn't that tell you something? You obvioulsy must think their great, because you keep persisting with them. Why the hell would the London Tonight studio have a brick wall with a couple of Tv's and two randomly placed sofa's? It wouldn't! Rolling Eyes

Just looked back at your mocks and all the comments on them were negative, you kept on persisting with them, why shouldn't I!? Confused

Well I have to disagree with you there.
My ITV News one - didn't get really any comments - so hardly negative.
My ITV.com one - some thought they weren't great, some thought they were ok, one gave me a 3.5/5 - hardly all negative again. Then the ITV ident's - again some negative, some positive. So "all the comments on them were NOT negative as you put it! It's called constructive critisim which I took on board, you don't seem to want to do that - as seen by the "clock" on the previous page, you still put it a second tim even though people said the clock looked rubbish.

They said it looked 'tacky' I changed it, they still didn't like it so I removed it! And I apologise, 'almost' all of the comments were negative!

There's really not much point in anyone commenting on this, is there JK08 (unless the bulk of their wisdom is something along the lines of "gr8 wrk!!!5*!!1!")? In your brief time here you've chosen to flatly ignore the now seemingly misplaced polite, sensible and considered advice that has been offered to you. Why, you've posted this very same mock, what, 3 times now?

Learn to accept and *act on* genuine, constructive criticism, the likes of which has been provided to you time and time again.

And for goodness sake don't even think about criticising others' work before you learn to take what you dish out, or else you'll look as silly as a news set with an olive clock hanging ominously above the presenter's head.

Yikes, that's not a good look. While it looks slightly better without the clock, it's poorly executed. I hate the virtual set as much as the next person, but I feel that adding a fake skyline makes it worse.

Just a quick question, is the Daybreak set actually used in the day? I'd quite like to see ITV News in there, obviously with a more newsy set up, but it would be much nicer in a 'real' studio.

Who says that that is a fake skyline!?

Basically it is just the ITV News desk stuck in front of the Daybreak windows

No, not at all.

There's only one place that ITV have access to in order to get a similar result.

Whilst designing, Daybreak didn't pop into my head once, apart from in the news bulletin mock.

What's the point of posting a mock if you're not willing to spend more than 5 minutes on it? You're wasting your time and ours otherwise. And you've got to stop being so combative when you get constructive criticism.

Perhaps the fact that it looks like it took 5 minutes (at most) to make this mock. Theres no point trying to even say " oh but it took me a hour or two" cause it's obvious it didn't.
