Basically it is just the ITV News desk stuck in front of the Daybreak windows

No offense, as fair enough your've tried - but the feedback you've got has been all negative - doesn't that tell you something? You obvioulsy must think their great, because you keep persisting with them. Why the hell would the London Tonight studio have a brick wall with a couple of Tv's and two randomly placed sofa's? It wouldn't! Rolling Eyes

Because apart from the brick wall, it already has them! -.-
Fair enough if you don't like them, I just want to improve my work!

They're not random places, they are strategically designed to A) The shape of the set and B) The Camera setup.

On mine they're not either, the sofa behind the desk is for the presenters to put they're things on and the other for guests!

Yeah really has some sofa's flat against a wall with the small plasmas behind them - gonna get loads of camera shots out of that! "the sofa behind the desk is for the presenters to put they're things on" - really????? Your kidding surely?

But you don't seem to want to improve them - on the last page people tell you the clock was rubbish and instead of getting red of it you just say "it was nice" and do another one" only after the second time people said it was crap, you got red of the clock.

On the ITV News ones, all you are mainly doing is getting a picture of the desk and presenters and poorly cutting them out and sticking the in front of a background. Literally what I always do before I upoad anything, is think "would other people think their rubbish" and if I think they would I don't upload them until I think there good enough.

I know that I shouldn't blame this on my tools, but I'm only using basic programmes such as Mac Preview and Keynote, if you could recommend any other software would be grateful!

But then again its not just the tool, it's the maker, it took me a couple of years to improve my mocks.

Well I should imagine Mac Preview and Keynote is better than what i was using for my mocks ( albeit for a wesbite rather than a studio) - I was using Powerpoint - and not to blow my ownn trumpet but instead of 1 out of 5, I got 2 or 3 out of 5.

Just looked back at your mocks and all the comments on them were negative, you kept on persisting with them, why shouldn't I!? Confused
