So what would happen if ITV launched a news channel, or took over Sky News, here is my mock. I've been working on the studio over the last week or so, and the graphics over the last few days.

Here is the studio:

I'm not sure what's more startling, the rate at which you're churning out these mocks or your apparent penchant for envisaging terrorist attacks. Confused

Glad I was not the only one who noticed it! Laughing

Could you not give constructive advice to help improve the mock?

I think I'll have a listen to all those old ITN News Channel MP3s. They did have a magnificent music package at launch.

During the first part of the ITV NC, was it sharing a studio with the bulletins or did they build a second set? How did they cope otherwise? CSO of the background?

This is really very poor because this is a studio that is already made in the Google Sketchup 3D Warehouse. You've just added a backdrop and changed a couple of colours!

This must have taken roughly 2 minutes to edit. Shocking effort, I'm sorry. And the astons are far too small and far from imaginative.

I could, but then my advice probably wouldn't match with your definition of "constructive", ie fawning admiration.

Oh what the hell, how about spending more than a day/hour/minute on something before posting? How about investing in a decent piece of software to give yourself half a chance? How about, after being being told one of your mocks isn't up to scratch, *not* persisting to flood the forum with dross but instead heed advice and take some pride in your work?

How about it, eh? Eh?

PS The ITN news channel launch package was rather good, wasn't it.

Memories........................

.......although Owen could have been a bit more gentlemanly by saying "from Faye and me" at the final wrap, as opposed to "from me, Owen Thomas, and from Faye, .........".

Really liked the opening desk they used as depicted in those images of Julia Somerville and Rob Curling.
