I guess somebody died during the afternoon then and ITV played out sombre versions of the titles for the later bulletins.
Much better layout, but needs the images to break it up IMO. Also would keep the ITV logo one colour, though you get away with it on the Lunchtime News cap.
I couldn't help but consider further tweaks to these titles inspired by Election 2015 (after what you said BBCNicky). These couldn't be more "rough sketch" - as I said before I like my final designs of the old style.
I removed the images on these end boards - but they would still appear during the titles.
Don't love these ... but these were just intrigue-based. I think I prefer the originals but it was fun to knock them together really quick for the purposes of just trying another idea.
