ITV News 2010 (Updated)

UPDATE ON PAGE 2

After the 2009 ITV News brand realignment, I've made a few tweaks on how I think it should look in 2010 as well as making the return of the ITV news channel.

Powerpoint 2007 Perchance?

They aren't very good, look like a mish mash of different image effects.
Although. I suspect my view could have been tainted at the lack of 16:9. If these were wide-screen then they could look so much better.

Not too bad, considering the limited sofware. If you've done this with powerpoint & ITV News have properly used some expensive software and yours look better(ish) than the current graphics - imagine what you could do with better software.

I have some ITV news mocks - that I'm just finishing - will post soon.

Few spelling errors... but at least the text is aligned properly with the logo. Shame the 'professionals' themselves can't get it right, and they have much better software!

Not totally keen on these mocks to be honest, but a good effort anyway. It just looks a bit inconsistent having one font for "NEWS" and then a different one for the other text on screen.

Al Jazeera English get away with it as did BBC News between 2003 and 2007! Nothing to do with it.

As for the mock there's the usual safe area stuff and the fact that, compared to the size of the picture, the graphics are a bit small but apart from that I like it. It's not technically the best but the ideas are certainly there.

@BBCNicky, Unfortunatly I don't have the ITV font so had to use a replacement, so that's why the font's are diffferent. If anyone out there does have the ITV Font...
