Wow I like! I agree though ITV news does need new titles or a refresh.

I agree. These titles remind me a bit of the yellow/blue previous look. The colours also resemble the backdrop, so when the clocks change and the background also changes colour, so could the titles.

Excellent, well done. I miss the mid-nineties 'following-the-minute-hand' titles. This brings that back with a modern feel. And no more teal!

Great work. Out of interest, is the idea that the headline sequence would be inserted at the point where the big hand gets to the 'VI', with the remainder as a tag? I think it would work rather nicely like that.

Very good! Much better having the programme name in the title.

For some reason I have a niggling doubt about the logo being white lettering on a transparent background. It reminds me of ITV HD, which doesn't impress! Wouldn't black on white look better, but keeping the programme name in white?

Another minor point (as raised by Sput on Metropol recently) is that clocks show 'IIII' rather than 'IV' to indicate the number 4.

Except Big Ben (which I'm guiessing this is based on), as pointed out by rts in the same thread.

Lovely mock by the way, the ojnly thing i'm not keen on is the "zoom/flash" effect thing on the logo at the end.

so it is Embarassed, although in my grovelling defence, Ash, I have to say that St Stephen's Tower clockface doesn't conform to other regular uses, such as the use of:

instead of 'X'.

My comments about the logo colours stand though...could the OP produce my suggestion, for comparison, or is that a bit of a hassle?
